Nature cannot be overriden

自然的力量不可抗拒，

but the catastrophe of an earthquake brings us too much pain

但地震的惨重后果令我们无比心痛！

Never does life yield to diseases without an indomitable fight

对抗疾病，生命能够百般顽强

but faced with the natural calamity, it appears so powerless without a struggle

面临天灾，生命却显得如此脆弱！

By a violent quake, in an instant, thousands upon thousands of lives were claimed

地动山摇，万千生命瞬间凋零

Those we hold dear have reached a better place

罹难者失去的是尘世间生命

Leaving the survivors grief and agony that may haunt the rest of their lives

留给幸存者的是余生难以愈合的伤痛

Life is transient

生命短暂易逝

So be grateful for each new day

所以请珍惜每一个新的日子

Every day,

每一天、

every hour,

每一小时、

and every minute is special;

每一分钟都非同寻常；

For you don't know whether it will be your last.

因为你无从知道这是否就是你生命的最后一刻。
